With a global following second only to Christianity and Islam, Hinduism has been an integral part of Nepal’s identity, maintaining its status as a Hindu Kingdom for an extended period.

Nepal being a repository of Hindu religious sanctuaries, temples, and shrines, holds immense significance for thousands of Hindu pilgrims who converge on its sacred sites during various auspicious occasions to pay homage to the deities. The rich tapestry of Hindu religious heritage is interwoven with the cultural fabric of the nation.

Beyond the realms of Hinduism, Buddhism has also thrived throughout Nepal, owing to the fact that the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, the historical Buddha, is situated within its borders. The country boasts an array of stupas and monasteries dedicated to Buddhist travelers seeking spiritual enlightenment. The synergy between Hinduism and Buddhism adds a unique and harmonious dimension to the religious landscape of Nepal.

Once renowned as the ‘City of Temples’, Kathmandu stands as a testament to the rich cultural and religious history of Nepal. The entire Kathmandu Valley is a treasure trove of religious sites, each with its own historical and spiritual significance. Exploring these sites could take weeks, offering visitors an immersive experience into the diverse religious and historical tapestry of the region.

Embarking on this Religious Tour in Nepal provides a rare opportunity to delve into the intricacies of Nepal’s historical and religious heritage. Participants can witness firsthand the architectural marvels, sacred objects, and the palpable spiritual energy that permeates these hallowed grounds.
