Once you land in Kathmandu, our representatives will be there waiting for you to meet and greet. Later, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can rest and freshen up. In the afternoon, you will meet your tour leader and other members of Green Getaways. Here, you will have the opportunity to ask for any last minute questions regarding your holiday and itinerary.
In the evening, we will host a welcome dinner in a cultural restaurant where you can witness cultural music and dance of Nepal. Here, you will meet your tour leader and tune up for your upcoming days in Nepal.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the domestic airport for a 25 minute flight to Pokhara, situated 200 km west of Kathmandu. Pokhara is the second biggest city in Nepal and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks.
From the Pokhara airport, you will drive for an hour to Dhampus village in the outskirts of Pokhara valley. The village is mostly inhabited by the people from Gurung ethnicity. The road to Dhampus offers a stunning view of the Annapurna range.
Finally, you will reach your lodge where you can rest and freshen up. In the evening, you can stroll around the village and get closer insights into the village.

After having a breakfast at the lodge, you'll be all set for a day trek towards Ghandruk. Along the trail, you'll be offered with stunning views of the mountains and rhododendron forests. You'll also come across a few waterfalls, adding to the scenic beauty. Passing through terraces and forests, you'll finally arrive at Ghandruk, a significant settlement of the Gurung community in Nepal.
Upon reaching Ghandruk, you'll have the opportunity to visit the Gurung museum, which is just a short walk away from your lodge. Here, you can explore and learn about the Gurung culture, their life, cuisines, arts, architecture, traditional tools, ornaments, and handicrafts. Our local guide will provide detailed explanations, and it's a great chance to take some pictures as keepsakes!
Later in the evening, a cultural show is organized to welcome you. This hour-long program features local dances and songs performed by the community, offering you a delightful experience of Gurung culture and entertainment.

As you depart from the picturesque Ghandruk village, the trek leads downwards towards the bank of the Modi River. Upon crossing a suspension bridge, the journey ascends towards the Landruk village, offering splendid views of the Annapurna range along the way.
Landruk is situated opposite of Ghandruk and shares similar cultural aspects and inhabitants. Upon arrival, take the opportunity to explore the surrounding areas with your trekking guide.
Exploring Landruk involves a guided walk around the village led by our trek guide. The locals are known for their warm hospitality, eagerly sharing insights about their community and the area. The short excursion offers a chance to learn more about the people and their way of life in Landruk.

Your trek today begins by walking through the villages and farmlands, with the majestic Annapurna range framing your journey. The captivating scenery provides a serene atmosphere and crisp mountain air, offering a refreshing experience in the mountains. Along the trail, you'll pass through beautiful villages that seem to gave retained their unchanged beauty for centuries.
Later in the afternoon, you'll have the option to relax in the lodge or embark on a short village walk accompanied by your guide.

Trekking Duration: 3-4 hours
Today you will begin your journey with a descent from Majgaon, hiking through hills and enchanting rhododendron forests for about two to three hours. The trail leads you to the village of Chandrakot, offering panoramic views of the valley and the surrounding mountains throughout the trek. From Chandrakot, you'll proceed to Lumle, from where one-hour drive takes you back to Pokhara.
Upon reaching in Pokhara, you'll have some leisure time to explore the city and its nearby streets. One of the highlights includes an hour-long journey boating excursion on Phewa Lake. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Taal Barahi temple situated at the lake's center, offering c chance to seek blessing and experience the serene ambience of this sacred place.

Today is the time to indulge yourself in rafting adventure!
Following a one-hour drive, you'll arrive at the rafting departure point. Before embarking in the exhilarating 3-hour rafting adventure, it's essential to pay close attention to the instructions provided.
The first day of rafting offers wonderful start as you will navigate through scenic landscapes, experiencing gentle rapids amidst lush greenery, setting the tone for an exciting journey ahead.
The day typically concludes with a campsite setup along the riverbank, providing a serene backdrop to unwind and savor the onset of the rafting journey.
Later, you will have the option to explore the campsite and indulge yourself in fun games around the campsite.

Following breakfast, you'll embark on a thrilling one-hour rafting adventure along the rapids and movements of the Seti River. Your rafting concludes reaching Gaighat in Chitwan district. From there, you will be transferred to the hotel in Chitwan National Park where you will have allocated time for relaxation and personal rejuvenation.
Later in the evening, an engaging Tharu cultural show is scheduled, offering an immersive experience into the indigenous Tharu community's vibrant traditions and performances.

Rafting Duration: 1 hour
Enjoy one more day filled with wildlife excitement! There are numerous activities scheduled for you today. You will Start your day with a visit to elephant breeding center followed by canoeing in Rapti river. During the canoeing you will have the opportunity to witness rare and endangered species of crocodiles and birds.
Later in the afternoon, you will have a jeep safari which takes you to the core of the national park allowing you to see different species of wild and endangered animals like elephants, one-horned rhino, deer, antelopes, gharials, etc. If you are lucky, you might even spot a tiger!
In the evening, you will have time to explore the place on your own.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will take a drive back to Kathmandu. The drive from Chitwan National Park to Kathmandu spans around 4 to 5 hours, offering a scenic adventure through diverse landscapes, witness picturesque views of hills, valleys, and beautiful villages along the Prithvi Highway. We will also make a visit to the 'Jalbire Waterfall' on the way.
Finally, you will reach Kathmandu and be transferred to your hotel.
In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner hosted by Green Getaways to celebrate the successful completion of your holiday in Nepal.
