Schedule Details

Day 01: Welcome to the city of temples

Once you land in Kathmandu, our representatives will be there waiting for you to meet and greet. Later, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can rest and freshen up. In the afternoon, you will meet your tour leader and other members of Green Getaways. Here, you will have the opportunity to ask for any last minute questions regarding your holiday and itinerary.  

In the evening, we will host a welcome dinner in a cultural restaurant where you can witness cultural music and dance of Nepal. Here, you will meet your tour leader and tune up for your upcoming days in Nepal.

Day 02: Cultural sightseeing in UNESCO heritage sites

Today after the morning breakfast, you will have a full-day sightseeing with a cultural guide. You will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath, which are the UNESCO heritage sites in Kathmandu. 

The sightseeing is the perfect opportunity for you to explore Nepal culturally and getting to know traditional arts and architecture. In the evening, you will be dropped to your hotel where you can rest and/or explore and on your own.

Day 03: Fly to the City with Lakes- Pokhara, Half- Day sightseeing

Today after breakfast, you will fly to Pokhara. Pokhara is considered as the adventure capital of Nepal which offers various outdoor sports. 

Upon reaching Pokhara and having some time to freshen up, then you will have guided sightseeing in and around Pokhara Valley.

First, we will visit the International Mountain Museum, which is one of the most popular landmarks in Pokhara. The museum is a tribute to the Himalayas and mountaineering, showcasing exhibits on mountain culture, history, and world's highest peaks. It offers a comprehensive insights into the lives of mountain communities and challenges faced by mountaineers, serving as an educational and inspirational hub for visitors. 

Later, you will visit World Peace Stupa, situated at the hilltop just above Phewa Lake. The stupa is a perfect point offering you with majestic views of the Annapurna range, Pokhara valley and Phewa lake below. 

Later in the evening, you will have free time to explore the place on your own.

Flight Duration: 25 minutes 

Day 04: Drive to to Sirubari 1700m

The journey from Pokhara to Sirubari begins with a scenic drive southeast to Syangja, followed by a shorter drive to reach the charming village of Sirubari. Nestles on a hill, Sirubari offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The village welcomes visitors with homestay accommodations, providing an authentic experience to the local culture and hospitality.  

Later in the evening, an engaging Gurung cultural show is scheduled, offering an immersive experience into the indigenous Gurung community's vibrant traditions and performances.

Driving Duration: 4 hours 

Day 05: Explore Sirubari and Surrounding

Today you will explore the village and Panchamul high school. You will enjoy experiencing the traditional tools used by the villagers. In the afternoon, there is an optional hike up to the place called Khumro Deurali to have the scenic view around the place.

Cap off your day with an unforgettable evening, as the local community hosts a farewell cultural show program. This hour-long spectacle is thoughtfully curated to offer a blend of entertainment and enjoyment. Revel in the vibrant cultural expressions, creating lasting memories as you bid farewell to enchanting village.

Day 06: Drive back to Pokhara

As the morning sun casts its golden glow over Sirubari, bid a fond farewell to the warm-hearted villagers. The journey back to Pokhara unfolds with a scenic drive, allowing you to reflect on the enriching experience in the Gurung village.

Upon reaching in Pokhara, take a moment to refresh and rejuvenate before embarking on your own exploration of this picturesque town. With the day at your leisure, consider venturing into the charm of Pokhara through activities like biking and boating, offering an efficient yet delightful way to delve into the beauty of the surroundings.

Day 07: Drive to Bandipur

Today after lunch you will drive to Bandipur along the Prithvi Highway. 

From Dumre, a small town on the highway, our journey takes us to the charming hill-station of Bandipur, once a bustling trading hub, now developmed into a popular touristic town. Bandipur offers breathtaking views of the sunset, sunrise and mountains. As we explore its cobbled streets, the town's unique blend of tradition and modernity unfolds, creating lasting memories against the backdrop of this picturesque hilltop retreat.

Driving Duration: 3 hours 

Day 8: Visit Siddha cave, Drive to Kathmandu

Today after breakfast, you will descend for 30 minutes from your homestay and reach the Siddha cave. Siddha cave is the largest cave in Asia. Your guide will instruct on having the best experience exploring the cave. Later, you will descend down for 30 minutes to a place called Bimal Nager where you will be received by our representatives. From Bimal Nagar, you will drive back to Kathmandu. Enjoy the nightlife in Kathmandu.

In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner hosted by Green Getaways to celebrate the successful completion of your holiday in Nepal.

Day 09: Final Departure

Your holiday in Nepal has came to an end today! Although, it might be difficult to say goodbye to this beautiful country, note that you have done something truly special while visiting this unique place. Our representatives will transfer you to the Kathmandu airport for your flight back home three hours prior your scheduled time to ensure smooth departure. 

As you fly back home, take some time to reflect on this unforgettable journey and plan another trip in the future.
