Skydiving in Nepal

Overview
Skydiving or Parachuting is one of the most popular adventure sports in Nepal. The mountainous country offers you one of the most thrilling adventures, which has the extreme adrenaline rush. While you skydive, you are rewarded with the beautiful scenery of Himalayas and valleys below. There are two spots in Nepal for skydiving-Everest and Pokhara.

Everest Skydiving
Launched in 2008 AD, the Everest Skydiving takes place in one of the most beautiful Khumbu regions of Himalayas, next to Mt Everest. As you dive, you are rewarded with 360 degree views of the mountains and dotted Sherpa villages and mountain valleys below. Everest Skydive is ranked in number 8 by CNN out of 50 best adventures in the world.

Jumping out of the B3 helicopter from 29500 ft and landing at Kalapathar, the highest point of Everest trekking or Ama Dablam Base Camp is undeniably the perfect activity to add in your bucket lists. The adrenaline rush you get from the free-fall, the eye-feasting view of the picturesque Sherpa settlement with the backdrop of Mt Everest, along with equally petrifying sister peaks, and the whole alpine experience can be a lifetime experience!

Pokhara Skydiving
The beautiful city of Pokhara is now touching a new height with yet another edition of Himalayan Skydive-Pokhara Skydiving, a sublime adventure you don’t want to miss while in Nepal. Backed up by Everest Skydive Crew, Pokhara Skydive started its commercial operation in 2013 AD. Skydiving is held every autumn at the bank of Phewa Lake in Pame, 11 km north of Lakeside. The adventure has gained its popularity amidst huge fun and excitement.

Leaping from the height of 9000-11000 ft, with the majestic Himalayas around, you and the serene valley of Pokhara below is indeed a feast to your soul!
